Developed for Rockwell Architecture on behalf of Marriott International, FINALE was installed in Marriott's new 'Innovation lab'; the worlds first Live Beta Hotel designed for a new generation of travellers at Marriott City Centre, Charlotte USA.

The aim was to create an innovative piece that captured the guests' imagination and was of a large enough scale to create a significant visual impact.  The fluted glass in FINALE was all hand blown and provides the organic element while we used advanced computer modelling to design the rigging and provide stress analysis.  Portraying energy and creating a vibrant space was a priority, however its goal was to compliment the space rather than providing a direct light source.  

BY LUUM were recognized with a darc award for best Hospitality Lighting for our part in this project.
